BARBARA MAMABOLO Born in Toronto, Mamabolo began her acting career at 13 and is known for roles in several teen series and films including Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Instant Star, Beautiful People, and three seasons as the title character in the children’s series Zixx. Having played several singers including the role of Angela in the Britney Spears-produced MOW Brave New Girl, and Janet Jackson in VH1’s Man in the Mirror: The Michael Jackson Story, Mamabolo has recently decided to explore her singing talent in a new role as the lead singer of Toronto-based R&B band Mamabolo.
